Personal Information

We collect certain Personal Information in order to operate our business of providing relocation and assignment management services. Personal Information includes name, postal address, telephone numbers, and email addresses. Additionally, we may collect personal information about individuals when such individuals specifically provide such information to us on a voluntary basis for the facilitation of relocation and/or assignment management services.

Non-Personal Information

We collect information on how our websites are accessed and used. We obtain non-personal information automatically and store information, such as browser types, internet protocol addresses, internet service providers, visited web pages, and the time spent on our internet sites. The collection of this data is used to improve the services provided to the end user, improve our marketing efforts, and improve our website functionality.

An example of this would be “cookies,” used by WHR and our marketing partners and analytics providers. We use cookies for session control and for authentication. Adherence to the Data Privacy Framework Program Principles

WHR Global complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. WHR Global has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. WHR Global has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. The Right of Access

Third Party Access to Personal Data

When you are providing us with your personal information, you are sharing that information with WHR alone. We do not rent or sell your personal information to any third parties, unless you have provided your express permission to release this data. Our websites may contain links to other websites provided solely as a courtesy, and you are under no obligation to utilize these websites. We accept no responsibility or liability for these websites. In the course of WHR’s relocation business, we may transfer information to our third-party suppliers (e.g., moving companies, temporary housing suppliers, etc.) as necessary to support the services we deliver. This information is used solely for the purposes of providing relocation services in accordance with our client contracts. We may be liable for the appropriate onward transfer of EU, UK, and Swiss individuals’ personal data to third parties.

We do not currently share your information with third parties who are non-agents; however, if that changes in the future, we will provide individuals with a way to opt out of that use or sharing.

Data Security

In order to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or to any other persons. Any information that you transmit is done at your own risk as you are responsible for maintaining the security of your passwords and/or any account information.

Dispute Resolution

In compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), WHR Global commits to resolve complaints regarding our collection or use of personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to these frameworks.

Binding Arbitration

If a complaint cannot be resolved through the above channels, under certain conditions, EU, UK, and Swiss individuals may invoke binding arbitration for residual claims not resolved by other redress mechanisms, as described in Annex I of the DPF Principles.

Disclosure of Customer Information

We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law or to protect the rights and property of WHR, our customers, users, or others.
