A Word From Roger
In
May, I took a break from the agenda I laid out in January, so this
monthly newsletter refocuses my attention on those principles that
are fundamental to the success of WHR Group. The next component
I want to address is Reporting
or perhaps more to the point, Accurate
Reporting. This is extremely vital
for the success of both Clients and WHR. Insuring that
reporting is provided with regularity, consistency and accuracy is of
fundamental importance to the success of WHR's internal performance
and to the results achieved with our Clients.
WHR has invested
millions of dollars into our wholly owned and
developed proprietary relocation management operating system
CARICS, (Counseling, Appraisal, Referral, Inventory, Closing and Settlement).
CARICS houses all of the data and information necessary for the
operations of WHR. While our people continue to be the drivers
or our service results and cost
management success, this technology is the vehicle utilized
to keep the operational flow of information on track and insures that
all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are maintained for accurate
reporting. CARICS tracks over 130 key data points or KPIs in
the relocation process.
The value and unique
architectural structure of CARICS extends down to every component of
the relocation process flow and supply chain. CARICS is
intentionally designed to save Clients time and energy in managing
their program and the following two components provide
additional reporting capabilities for WHR Clients:
1)
The CARICS application is built with web capability in
mind and all information is available in real time and on demand for
clients. This system is encrypted and totally secure for
clients to access data at their convenience based on their own unique
IDs and passwords via the World Wide
Web.
2)
CARICS also contains a document repository where every
form, email, report, etc. are digitally imaged and stored in an
electronic format. This enables a client to view all
documentation via a web portal and no paperwork is required to be
sent back and forth between WHR and the client.
Accuracy of
information is fundamental and WHR provides both standardized and
customized reporting to the exact specifications per client
request/demand. Having this available 24 x
7 with real time information is critical to meeting the
needs of our clients.
If you would like to
know more about this state of the art relocation management system,
please let me know as we would gladly provide a webinar on its
functionality. If you ever have any questions about WHR
please call me directly at 262-523-7501
or email me at roger.thrun@whrg.com.
Regards,
Roger Thrun

WHR Introduces...
In
response to client demand WHR has created an additional operating
company, RMG. This mortgage company is a joint venture between
WHR and US Bank to provide mortgage products in all 50 states.
WHR has been looking for the right partner for a number of years and
started formal due diligence at the end of 2009. After a
complete review and the ability for this organization to provide
service at a level on par with WHR, the agreements have been
signed and this company is open for business.
RMG will provide a variety of mortgage products, and will have competitive
rates and terms. One extremely unique product is an FHA loan
where the first year's interest rate is 1% below the stated FHA
rate. This does not require any buy-down, but is a unique
product to RMG and costs no more than a normal FHA loan. If you
are interested in knowing more about this company please
contact Roger directly at 262-523-7501 or email me at roger.thrun@whrg.com, and I can provide an
overview and introduction to our loan
officer.
RMG recommends all clients familiarize themselves with the new
guidelines that both Freddie and Fannie have instituted in regards to
condominium properties. To insure everyone is aware of the
current guidelines we have included a list of homes that would be
ineligible for financing according to these new requirements.

The Federal Housing Administration plays a key role in
today's housing market, but changes are necessary to support recovery
in the real estate market and general economy. That was the focus of
today's "Restoring the Balance of Public and Private Capital in
Mortgage Finance" session, part of a three-day summit during the
Realtors® Midyear Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo here this
week.
"Realtors® are working to reshape real estate in
America, and FHA's role and prominence have shifted significantly
over the past few years," said National Association of Realtors®
President Vicki Cox Golder, owner of Vicki L. Cox & Associates in
Tucson, Ariz. "Many first-time home buyers rely on FHA loans to
purchase a home, and because of its vital role in helping families
achieve the dream of homeownership, FHA must be strengthened and
supported. At the same time, private financing must also return to
support a full recovery." More...

By Diane Swonk, Cheif Economist, Meisirow Financial
VIew the lastest issue of Themes on the Economy®,
a monthly economic newsletter written by Chief Economist Diane Swonk,
focusing on the latest trends and data exhibited in the U.S. economy.
In her May edition, Swonk takes a closer look at the structural
changes that are likely to emerge as the cyclical recovery matures.
"One lesson of the crisis is clear: what we do today sets the
stage for tomorrow. We must start thinking more constructively about
narrowing the federal budget deficit, and move away from our reliance
on consumption toward investment and exports," notes Swonk. More...
